ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- Following the meeting with the students at Boys State, Congressman Dusty Johnson talked about his campaign for Governor with HubCityRadio and the Aberdeen Insider.
Johnson talked about the three bills addressing sales tax on the state, county, and city levels.
South Dakotans for Fair Taxes are looking to refer SB245 which deals with the funding from the increase sales tax toward property tax relief. Johnson was asked whether he wants to see that refered to the voters.
Johnson reacted to the latest KELOLAND poll showing Toby Doeden now leading with Congressman Johnson second.
Johnson commented on what it means to be a Republican in South Dakota in 2026.
Primary election is coming up on Tuesday, June 2nd.
