DELL RAPIDS, SD (HubCityRadio.com) – The Region 1A tournament champions are the Aberdeen Roncalli Cavaliers.

 

On a sunny & gorgeous Wednesday afternoon, the Cavaliers brought their “A game” down I-29 to Dell Rapids at Rocky Run Golf Course and defeated the rest of the seven team field. Roncalli finished nine strokes ahead of second place Madison & 62 strokes ahead of third place, Sioux Valley; both the Bulldogs & Cossack teams qualified for the state tournament, as did Aberdeen Roncalli.

 

Individually, Madison’s Sienna Maxwell was the medalist for the day, carding a (+9, 81) and Roncalli’s Grace Seyer finished in second place, one stroke off the lead. Kenzley Heath of Sisseton placed third, two strokes off of first place, while Aberdeen Roncalli saw Claire Crawford & Mackenzie Wegehaupt finish in fourth & fifth place, respectively.
