Recap of NSU’s Town Hall held on Tuesday

ABERDEEN, S,D,(HubCityRadio)- Northern State University did a Town Hall on Tuesday focusing on the strategic plan they’ll looking to implement their plans they discussed back in December.

NSU President Alan LaFave went over the timeline that started last year.

They hired two consultants to help with the process.

Kristi Wagner detailed what’s been done since December.

John Beranek remind the audience the four strategic directions NSU is looking to achieve.

Members of the NSU staff went into details on each goal.

Kristi Bockorny went over what will likely be the mission going forward.

Goal #1 Increasing Enrollment & Student Successes:

Eric Kline went over the enrollment and hopeful graduation rate at NSU yearly.

Goal #2 Strengthening Organizational Framework:

Nate Davis talking about the need of investment going forward.

Goal #3 Advancing Academic Innovation:

Hannah Walters talks about students trusting students as mentors.

Goal #4: Championing a Unified Identity:

Zach Flakus talks about establishing Northern State in a more regional and even national scale.

They will look to provide an update on these goals coming up sometime in November.
