Two Aberdeen residents arrested for drug possession

ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- On Tuesday night, the Aberdeen Police Department made two arrests on drug possession charges.

According to their official release, police went to the 1100 block of South Washington Street to speak to 34-year-old Emmanuel Echo on various warrants out on him.

During the interaction, suspicion was raised which led to obtaining a search warrant to investigate the property.  It was at that time they seized over 25 pounds of of marijuana, psilocybin mushrooms, and additional evidence indicating the distribution of marijuana.

The investigation led to a second search warrant at a nearby residence.  That location was occupied by 51-year-old Lisa Bieber.  At that location they discovered drug paraphernalia and a controlled substance.

Both indivduals were arrested and charged with the following:

Emmanuel Echo:

  • Distribution of marijuana
  • Possession of a controlled substance
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Escape
  • Multiple Failure to Appear warrants out of Minnehaha County

Lisa Bieber:

• Conspiracy to commit an offense
• Possession of a controlled substance
• Possession of drug paraphernalia
