SIOUX FALLS, S.D.(KELO)- It’s a 77-million dollar package that will affect recreational opportunities in Sioux Falls for decades…but it will have to wait.
City finance director Shawn Pritchett says it’s apparent city councilors aren’t comfortable with the fees that would have to be charged to cover expenses.
Parks and Recreation Director Don Kearney says he’ll work toward reaching an agreement with councilors on those issues over the next few months.

Councilors took the first step in moving ahead with the purchase of the Sanford health Wellness Center on the city’s west side.

They heard first reading of a proposal to temporarily transfer nine-million dollars to make the purchase.
