State A Senior Tournament in Brandon

ELIMINATION BRACKET

RC Post 22

SF East 4-1

SFE sent the perennial top team packing on Monday, eliminating the Hardhats, 4-1. SF held a mild 6-5 lead in hits, but RC had three errors while the SF guys didn’t have a miscue on “D”. Andrew Evenson tossed 7inn and K’d four in the win, while Nate Olson plated two.

“COMBO” BRACKET

(one loss) Pierre

(no losses) Renner Royals 7-6

Renner came back from a 6-1 deficit to tie things w/ a 5-run B5, then they took the lead for good by scoring once in the B6 for a 7-6 win and the elimination of Pierre. More importantly, the Royals now need just one win against SF East… and can even lose against them once Tuesday. Renner was out-hit 9-6 in the victory, but they clustered those hits together & took advantage of some walks and four Pierre errors. Jayden Wiebe had 3H for Pierre, while both Andy Moen & Zach Ridl had 2H for the Royals. Austin Henry plated a pair in the win.
