Water Hydrant Testing – Railroad Avenue to South City Limits on Tuesday

ABERDEEN, S.D.(Press Release)- Beginning at approximately 8am on Tuesday, May 25th, weather permitting the Aberdeen Fire Department will began flow-testing fire hydrants in the following area:

From Railroad Avenue South to City Limits

Between

South 6th Street and South Dakota Street

The fire department will be opening hydrants and residents will experience some water pressure changes, and in some instances the water will be disturbed to the point of discoloring or appearing rusty.  The project will continue until completed in these areas of the city until all hydrants have been tested.  Any questions or concerns can be reported to the Public Works Department at 626-7010.
