VERMILLION, S.D.(WNAX)- The National Music Museum on the USD campus in Vermillion has named Dwight Vaught as their new director.

He says he was attracted by the multiple roles of the museum.

Vaught says he has been aware of the museum for some time.

Vaught says the museum is an educational and research center and also a tourism attraction.

The museum recently opened the new Lillebridge Wing to the public and is preparing to reopen the historic wing of the facility, with twelve thousand square feet of new exhibitions in 2023, which will be the fiftieth anniversary of the museum.
