SIOUX FALLS, SD (HubCityRadio.com) – One day down & one day to go for a potential championship for the Aberdeen Central Golden Eagles girls golf squad.

After day one from Prairie Green CC in Sioux Falls, the Golden Eagles are collectively 10 shots ahead of the field, with Mitchell sitting in second place and RC Stevens in third, twenty five shots behind Aberdeen Central; O’Gorman & SF Lincoln round out the top five.

Individually, Olivia Braun is six strokes ahead of second place, where there’s a three way tie, with a pair of Kernels + Braun’s teammate, Emma Dohrer. That slew of players carded a five over par 77 for the first day. Aberdeen Central’s Kyley Wirebaugh sits in sixth place after day one, shooting an eight over, 80 for the afternoon.
