SIOUX FALLS, S.D.(KELO)- The man accused of murdering Chief Deputy Sheriff Ken Prorock was back in court Thursday.
A Moody County judge approved a motion allowing Joseph Hoek(Hook) to add a third attorney to his defense team.
The prosecution is watching closely amid concerns Hoek’s defense could pursue an insanity plea.
Attorney General Marty Jackley spoke with KELO about that possibility.
Jackley says the trial date remains set for October 3rd.
