Lucille Margaret (Robinson) Liebig, 93, of Redfield, SD, passed away Friday, March 7, 2025, at Avantara Redfield with her loving family at her bedside.
Service will be held at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Redfield. Visitation will be from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. on Friday, March 14. Her prayer service, rosary, and time of sharing will begin at 5:00 p.m.
Lucille’s Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 15, with Reverend John Short officiating. After a time for lunch and fellowship, burial will follow at St. Ann’s Catholic Cemetery in Frankfort, SD.

Lucille Liebig was born on March 22, 1931, in Spink County to Lorraine and Mayme (Eimers) Robinson. She spent her childhood and youth on the family farm north of Frankfort, SD. She attended Frankfort Public School and graduated in 1950.
On November 12, 1953, she married William C. Liebig, of Frankfort, and to this union four children were born. Lucille’s family moved to California in 1959, and she returned to Frankfort in 1997, after she retired.
Lucille enjoyed attending sporting events, bingo, playing tripoley, and working at the senior center. Lucille was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church.
Lucille is survived by her children: Willie (Penni) Liebig, Lebanon, IL, Al Liebig, Spanish Fork, UT, June (Don) Kellerman, Pahrump, NV, and Jeanette (Dean) Rexford, Jurupa Valley, CA. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren, along with her sisters and brothers: Josephine Harris, Florence Hinker, Sylvester (Kay) Robinson, Lawrence Robinson, Denice (Daryl) Taylor, and Sharon (Sheldon) Osborn, as well as many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, siblings: Mary (Charles) Hurst, Steve (Clairice) Robinson, Bea (Bill) Hixon, brothers-in-law: Dick Harris and Joe Hinker, and nieces: Anna Reyes, Kathi (Dave) Swanson.
