She was a hard worker and continued to work at Bethlehem Lutheran Church until she was 93. She loved swimming, exercising, and babysitting at the YMCA. In her younger years she loved Polka dancing. Virginia loved cooking and baking. Her Kuchen was loved by many, and her granddaughter remembers her delicious strudel as well as her smile that would light up the room. She was an avid gardener and canned everything. She loved traveling, covering most states in the United States and really enjoyed her trips to Australia and Canada. She liked playing games, putting puzzles together, and having morning coffee with her dear friends at Arbor Springs. Her most precious time was spent with her family.
