Joyce Schaefer, 85, Hoven, SD, died Monday, June 24, 2024 at the Bowdle Hospital.
Joyce is survived by her daughters—JoLynn (Dennis) Hawkinson and Shari (Jerry) Kaup of Hoven, Wanda (Willie Jangula) Schaefer of Ashley, ND, LeAnn (Lorin) Wolf and Jackie (Don) Hawkinson of Bismarck, ND, and Karla May of Aberdeen, SD; one brother, Larry (Deb) Lutz of Akaska, SD; 17 grandchildren; and 20 great grandchildren with a 21st due in December.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM, Monday, July 1, 2024 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Hoven, with Father Brian P. Simon, Celebrant. Interment follows at the Church Cemetery.
There will be a Wake Service 7:00 PM Sunday with visitation beginning 5:00 PM at St. Anthony’s Church.
