Aberdeen Public Works Director Stu Nelson discuss the water main break that happened last Thursday

ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- Last Thursday there was a water pipe break that took place off of 1st Ave & North Jackson Street.  Aberdeen Public Works Director Stu Nelson ran down the timeline that took place.


The break cost the city over two million gallons of water and led to the Boil Water Advisory.

Nelson told the Aberdeen City Council the reason why they sent water samples to Pierre.

Nelson hopes all repairs will be finished by the end of this week.
