VERMILLION, SD (HubCityRadio.com) – On Tuesday, the two day tournament from the SDGA Sanford Golf Series wrapped up from Vermillion and Aberdeen’s own Olivia Braun finished atop the leaderboard, sixteen shots ahead of second place Erin Hurd of Sioux Falls. The Aberdeen Central product improved her game by five strokes from Monday to Tuesday; on the front nine, Braun was locked in. She hit a birdie on the par five, second hole and also hit a birdie on the par four, ninth hole. Even with a few bogeys on the back nine, she still drilled a few birdies, on the 15th hole (par 4) and the 18th hole (par 5). Braun finished one under par for the day and was the only player who would finish under par for the afternoon. Only a pair of guys finished the day under par, Taten Mauney of Hartford (-1) & Sawyer Sonnenschein of Fort Pierre (-2).
