ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- On Saturday, the city of Aberdeen officially received 3.7 inches of snow which prompted them to issue a snow removal alert for Sunday.
Aberdeen City Manager told the council that the city was prepping for potentially heavy snowfall on that day.
Aberdeen Public Works Director Stu Nelson talks about how despite seeing temps well above freezing starting on Wednesday that it was the right move to do the plowing on Sunday.
The city did do ticketing and towing. Aberdeen Police Chief estimated that around 400 people were ticketed.
