ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- The Aberdeen City Council on Monday night dealt with two ordinances dealing with various weapons.
Aberdeen City Attorney Ron Wager(Wag-er) talks about the first ordinance dealing with handguns. The first part dealing with falling in line with the South Dakota law dealing with conceal carry.
The second part deal with waterfowl hunting. Wager talks about that in conjunction with pheasant hunting that is already in the books.
The second ordinance dealt with air guns and hoax weapons.

Wager talks about how this ordinance came about due to actions taking place near an Aberdeen school.
Wager talks about why this only applies to adults.
The Aberdeen City Council approved first readings of both ordinances. Second readings are scheduled for Monday, May 16th.
