ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- The Aberdeen Parks, Recreation, and Forestry Department has closed the outdoor rinks at Lincoln and Manor Park today due to the weather. The department will reevaluate on a daily basis. They encourage everyone to stay away from those areas to allow them to preserve the ice at both locations.
The National Weather Service has posted a Winter Weather Advisory for Friday until 6pm. Forecast calls for 60% snow with strong northwest winds at 30-40mph with gusts as high as 50mph.
