PIERRE, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- The South Dakota Senate debated HCR6004. The resolution encouraging the use of physical cash in transactions.
Opposing the resolution was District 1 Senator Michael Rohl.
Introducing the resolution to the Senate was District 3 Senator Carl Perry who was listed as a co-sponsor of the bill.
After the debate, the South Dakota voted 17-17 on the resolution. Afterward Senator Chris Carr of Sioux Falls changed his vote from yea to no and the vote was 18-16 against it essentially defeating the resolution.
