ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- The Aberdeen School Board held their meeting on Monday night.
Superintendent Dr. Becky Guffin talked about the Golden Apple Award that was given earlier this month.
Guffin announced the winners of this award.
The School Board also heard from Aberdeen Central student Erich Schaffhauser Nygaard who was selected to an all state band member on clarient each of the last four years.
The school board also received a report on May Overby Elementary School.
Principal Mike Neubert provided an update on reading & arithmetic competition.
Neubert talks about how the school is prepping for America’s 250th birthday.
