ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- On Tuesday, the Brown County Commission received a report on the 2026 Assessment Plan from the Director of Equalization, Gene Loeschke.
Loeschke talked about SB216 that was passed last year.
Loeschke discussed the market in Brown County for 2025.
Loeschke went over those numbers.
Loeschke also talked about the impact SB216 had on senior citizens. Those over the age of 65.
Loeschke looked ahead to this year’s legislative session and discussed Governor Rhoden’s bill(SB96).
Since this was only a report, no action was needed by the commission.
