SB3: Limit the types of residential improvements for which counties, municipalities, and townships may require a permit.(Bill has been introduced and referred to the Senate Local Government Committee)
SB4: Revise procedures for returning and withholding security deposits for residential premises.(Bill has passed the South Dakota Senate on January 21st on a 32-0 vote, now moved on to the South Dakota House)
SB5: Require the disclosure of whether a ballot question was proposed by initiative or by the Legislature.(Bill has passed the South Dakota Senate on January 20th on a 32-0 vote, now moved on to the South Dakota House)
SB6: Reduce the duration of an individual’s reemployment benefits.(Bill will have hearing at the South Dakota Senate Commerce & Energy Committee on Thursday)
SB7: Modify the tax rate on gold severed in this state.(Bill Deferred to 41st Day by Senate Taxation Committee on a 7-0 vote on September 21st)
SJR501: Proposing and submitting to the voters at the next general election an amendment to the Constitution of the State of South Dakota, limiting the number of terms an individual may serve as a member of the Legislature.(Resolution will have hearing with Senate State Affairs Committee on Friday)
SJR502: Applying to the United States Congress under Article V of the United States Constitution to call for a convention proposing an amendment to the constitution fixing the number of justices of the United States Supreme Court at one chief justice and eight associate justices.(Resolution will have hearing with Senate State Affairs Committee on Friday)
