IPSWICH, S.D.(Press Release) – There will be a community meeting to increase public awareness around concerns with Riverview’s proposed 25,000 head dairy near Mina Lake in Edmunds County.
Concerned community members, including 320+ signatories of a petition have expressed concern with this proposal. These people are farmers, business owners, parents, grandparents, and neighbors who have concerns and unanswered questions that deserve to be addressed before the Department of Agriculture and Natural Resources (DANR) considers their permit application. Staff from DANR as well as Riverview Dairy have been invited to participate in this public meeting.
The media is invited to attend this meeting in person, and for those that cannot, there will be a Zoom link. There will be a number of community members available for interviews at the event.
