WASHINGTON, D.C.(HubCityRadio)- On Thursday, Congressman Dusty Johnson released his plan to address property taxes if elected as Governor for 2027.
Johnson announced his plans for $400 property tax credit to homeowners.
Johnson also announced his plans to waive two years worth of property taxes or first time homeowners.
Johnson discuss a plan to address the potential increase in state sales tax.
The sunset clause which would allow the State Salex Tax to go from 4.2% to 4.5% would go into effect on July 1st, 2027.
