ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- The Brown County Commission held their first meeting of 2026 on Tuesday. The main focus was organizational.
Brown County Commission selected Commissioner Duane Sutton to be the Chair once again for another year.
The commission selected Commissioner Mike Gage to be Vice Chair.
The commission selected their official newspapers for 2026.
The commission approved travel reimbursement rates for 2026.
The meeting also approved resolutions addressing rates for election officials and approving vote centers for 2026.
