ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- Since December 23rd, three structural fires have been reported by the Aberdeen Fire Rescue. At Monday’s Aberdeen City Council meeting, Fire Chief Joel Weig provided an update on each of them.
Weig updated on the fire that occured on December 23rd on 8th Avenue SE that resulted in two fatalities.
Weig concluded the investigation on the second fire that happened on South Kline Street.
Weig updated on the third fire that was on 11th Avenue SE.
Weig describe fire safety tips that he would like to see the public do going forward.
Aberdeen Fire Rescue also recommend to have smoke alarms on each floor of the building.
