ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- The Brown County Commission heard a report from Brown County Fair Manager Rachel Kippley.
Kippley reflect back on projects done in this past year starting with the sprinklers at the Expo Center.
Kippley went over the other projects done this year.
Kippley look ahead to projects for 2026.
Kippley talks about the profits from this year’s fair and look to place over a million dollars to the Fair Improvement Fund.
Kippley discuss the major project on the horizon which is the grandstands starting in 2029 and estimated the cost for now.
Commissioner Duane Sutton who is lialson to the Brown County Fair Board talks about what the annexation of the fairgrounds between the city of Aberdeen and Brown County could bring.
Kippley is scheduled to return to the Brown County Commission on Tuesday, December 30th to present the final numbers from this year’s fair.
