WATERTOWN, S.D.(KWAT)- Watertown Mayor Ried Holien says he was “a little sad” upon initially hearing the recent news that Prairie Lakes Healthcare System will be combining with Sanford Health.
The mayor says having a locally-owned hospital has always been,”a source of pride for Watertown”.
But there are benefits that can be realized.
The transition to Sanford-branded healthcare facilities in Watertown is expected to occur in 2026.
