ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- On Friday, the incoming President of Northern State University, Dr. Alan LaFave came to Aberdeen to meet & greet with the citizens. Dr. LaFave is currently the President at Valley City State University in North Dakota.
Executive Director of the South Dakota Board of Regents, Nathan Lukkes(Lucas) introduced Dr. LaFave.
Dr. LaFave took the time to thank the Board of Regents to trust him to be the next President of NSU.
Lafave discuss the impact Northern State has had to his life.
LaFave wanted to send a message to everyone affiliated with NSU.
One of Lafave’s first goal is to see an increase in enrollment at Northern.
Dr. LaFave will take over as NSU’s President on January 5th. He will be at NSU for a Town Hall on Wednesday, December 3rd. The event will be from 3-5pm at the Kessler’s Champion Club at the Barnett Center.
