ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- One man was arrested in North Platte, N.E. following an incident that took place in Aberdeen on Tuesday night.
The Aberdeen Police Department released the following statement:
“On November 18th around 10:15pm, officers with the Aberdeen Police Department were dispatched to a report or a domesti assault at an Aberdeen residence. When officers arrived, they met with a 32-year-old female with serious injuries. The female reported being subjected to a brutal assault. She was transported by Aberdeen Fire and Rescue to Avera St. Lukes hospital where she is being treated for her injuries.
Prior to the officers arriving the suspect had left the scene. The victim and suspect were known to each other and officers worked throughout the night to locate him. An attempt to locate was generated and shared with agencies throughout the Midwest. Through investigative efforts and interagency cooperation, the 32-year-old male suspect was located in North Platte, Nebraska by the Nebraska State Patrol. He was taken into custody and is being held on numerous felony charges including burglary, kidnapping, and aggravated assault domestic violence.

No names have been released at this time. No further detail to be released until suspect returns to Aberdeen by the Nebraska State Patrol.
