CR8 Soda wins Idea Pitch Competition

ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio) – Five students and student groups competed for cash prizes as they pitched their business ideas at Northern State University’s annual Idea Pitch Competition.

The event showcased innovative ideas from the following NSU students:

  • Blake Clay, Cade Trenhaile, Maggie Kruger, with their business idea Behind the Pack
  • Blake Stoks, with his business idea Craving Compost
  • Elana Bishop, with her business idea Liora: Infrared Light Bed Studios
  • Madi Jones, with her business idea CR8 Soda
  • Trista Henderson & Angela Rowse, with their business idea EveryDrop

The winner of the $500 award was Madi Jones’ business idea CR8 Soda.

Jones hope to have this business up and running by June of 2026.  She was also the winner of the People’s Choice for Industry Disruptor Award.
