SISSETON, S.D. (KWAT)–SISSETON, S.D. (KWAT)–The Roberts County Sheriff’s Office says foul play is NOT suspected after the body of an adult male was discovered Monday morning.
Sheriff Tyler Appel (apple) says the body of the man was located around 8 a.m. near the on-ramp of Interstate 29 and South Dakota Highway 10 near Dakota Connection Casino.
Appel says early findings indicate exposure to the elements played a significant factor in the man’s death, and he appeared to be in need of medical intervention as well.
The man is believed to be from Fargo. His name is not being released until family can be notified.
