SIOUX FALLS, S.D.(KELO)- It hasn’t happened yet, but China has committed to buying 12-million metric tons of U-S Soybeans by the end of the year.
Nate Franzen (fran-ZEEN), the President of Ag Banking at First Dakota National Bank, says the Chinese purchase would be of particular help to producers in this region.
Earlier this week, Congressman Johnson told the listeners in Aberdeen how buying U.S. soybeans will impact the country.
China is normally the largest buyer of U-S soybeans…but has stayed out of the U-S market this year.
