OMAHA, N.E.(KELO)- The regional manufacturing economy moved into positive territory this past month…but not by much.
Inflation is high at the Wholesale level at 7.9-Percent according to Creighton University’s Mid-America Manufacturing Index.
That’s a survey of manufacturing supply managers in a nine-state region.
Economist Ernie Goss says all of those states showed lower export numbers except one.
Supply managers say tariffs have increased input prices.
Managers are evenly split on whether they support or oppose President Trump’s tariffs.
