ABERDEEN, S.D. (KELOLAND) — An Aberdeen man is behind bars – accused of attempting to hire someone to rape a person he knows.
67-year-old Mark Rathbun was booked into jail Friday.
In addition to soliciting rape, Rathbun is also accused of having child pornography and unlawful use of a computer system.
According to the complaint, he used someone else’s computer without permission so he could access confidential information. All three charges are felonies.
