PIERRE, S.D.(DRGNews)- The state school board organization has recognized the school boards of 82 public school districts for their work during the 2024-25 school year….and nearly two dozen of those districts are located in central South Dakota.

Associated School Boards of South Dakota Executive Director Heath Larson said Act, Learn, Lead– or ALL– honors the work of school boards who strive to enhance their knowledge base for effectively serving students. He said by participating in ASBSD activities, training opportunities and demonstrating leadership at the local, state and national level, school boards accumulate points throughout the school year.

Larson said the work of these school boards will benefit their respective district’s students and staff, as well as their communities.

This is the ninth year of the program and the 82 public school board honorees are the second most in the history of the Associated School Board’s ALL program.
