ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- The Brown County Commission heard a report on three year bids to be the contractor for the rodeo that held each year at the Brown County Fair.
Brown County Fair Manager Rachel Kippley inform the commission that there was a total of fives bids.
First bid from Bailey Pro Rodeo who has been a part of the fair for the last three years. They arebased in North Dakota.
Second bid from Big Bucks ProRodeo who did the spring’s Bullerama from Nevada.
Third bid from Dakota Rodeo based out of Oklahoma.
Fourth bid from Pennie Pro Rodeo based out of North Dakota.
Final bid from Barnes PRCA Rodeo based out of Iowa.
Commission move to defer the bids to allow the Brown County Fair Board to decided which contractor to go with.
Also in the same meeting, Kippley discussed ticket prices for next year’s Brown County Fair.
Prices for the Grandstand events are as followed:
3 Day GA $100(Cyber Sale in December)/$120(Pre-BCF)/$140(Fair Week)
4 Day GA $130(Cyber Sale in December)/$150(Pre-BCF)/$170(Fair Week)
3 Day Res $120(Cyber Sale in December)/$140(Pre-BCF)/$160(Fair Week)
