ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- Last week, District 8 Senator Casey Crabtree made it official that he will be seeking the Republican nominee for the U.S. House seat representing South Dakota. On Monday, he appeared on the KSDN Midday Report to discuss his campaign.
Prior to that, we discussed the upcoming special session on Tuesday addressing the funding for the new mens prison to be located in Sioux Falls. Crabtree is a strong supporter of the proposal.
Crabtree believe the legislature should address the issue of public safety when it comes to the need of the new prison.
It was announced that Governor Rhoden will address the legislature. Crabtree talks about what he expect to hear from him.
Crabtree also the issues of need for rehab for the prison that could help the recidivism rate.
