Lisa Forsman, 60, Ashley, ND, died Friday, July 18, 2025 at her home.
Lisa Lorraine Zuercher, daughter of Geneva (Tilton) and Warren Zuercher, was born January 21, 1965 at Smithfield, North Carolina. She was brought up in Four Oaks, NC and in 1975, the family relocated to Devils Lake, ND. Her formal education consisted of Devil Lakes High School and North Dakota School of Science in Wahpeton, ND. She earned her Pharmacy Technician degree and started her career in Watford City, ND. Lisa married Kevin Forsman on February 14, 1994 in Las Vegas, NV. In 2007, the couple moved to Ashley where Lisa lived the rest of her life. She was employed at White Drug from 2007 until her retirement in 2020. Lisa enjoyed drawing, time with her dogs and cats, and being in her yard keeping it beautiful.
Lisa is survived by Kevin, her husband of 31 years; two brothers— Gary (Maretta) Zuercher of Mesa, AZ and Ted (Wanda Massengill) Zuercher of Four Oaks, NC; and Aunt Rachel Carlile of Ashley.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Warren and Geneva; her stepfather, Fred Regan; and her brother, Rick.
Services are scheduled for 11:00 AM, Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at Carlsen-Lien Chapel, Ashley, led by Pastor David Irwin. Vocal selections will be “Go Rest High on that Mountain” by Vince Gill and “Jealous of the Angels” by Donna Taggart.
Bearers will be Lisa’s nephew, Sonny Zuercher and niece, Crystal Zuercher.
Services are in care of Carlsen-Lien Chapel, Ashley, ND.
