ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- Friday is Independence Day and a number of activities have been scheduled for the Aberdeen region to celebrate the holiday.
Wylie Park 4th of July Celebration schedule:
7pm- Storybook Land Theatre to perform “Little Red Riding Boots and Cooter Coyote: Master of Disguise” at the castle
8:30pm- Aberdeen Municipal Band to perform an Independence Day Concert
Around dusk will be the firework show.
The event is sponsored by the Aberdeen Parks, Recreation, and Forestry Department.

Mina Lake Freedom Festival: July 3rd-5th

Aberdeen Aqua Addicts to perform live show at Dahme Lake beginning at 7pm
Tickets are $7 adults and $3 for students.
Brown County Speedway Racing at the Brown County Fairgrounds beginning at 7pm with Spectacular Fireworks show to follow.
