A Celebration of Life for Linda M. Krogman, 78, of Aberdeen, SD, will be 10:00am, Monday, July 7, 2025, at Spitzer-Miller Funeral Home Fellowship Hall. Lunch will follow. Burial will be July 8th, 2025, 3:00 pm at the South Dakota Veterans Cemetery in Sioux Falls, SD. Linda died suddenly, Sunday, June 29, 2025, at her home in Aberdeen surrounded by family.
Visitation will be 4:00-6:00pm, Sunday, with family present at Spitzer-Miller Funeral Home Fellowship Hall, 1111 South Main Street.
Linda Marie Fossum was born on May 15, 1947 to Glenn and Lois (Sampsell) Fossum in Aberdeen. She grew up and attended school in Aberdeen, graduating from Aberdeen Central High School.
On May 26, 1969, Linda married Ronald Krogman. Together they made their home in Aberdeen and raised two daughters, Tammy and Tracy. In her early years, Linda worked as an activity’s director at a nursing home but spent the rest of her life as a salesclerk and worked at many retail stores. Throughout her life, she worked at Red Owl, White Drug, Sears, Shopko, Conlin’s, Herbergers and was employed at Kohl’s at the time of her death. Throughout her life, Linda also was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and sold Avon products for over 50 years!
Linda was a loving, selfless person. She was always welcoming and would often cook for family and friends. Among favorites were her angel food cake, bump eggs and butter horns. She loved to talk and visit. Linda cherished her family and loved attending her grandchildren’s events and activities.
Grateful for having shared Linda’s life are her husband, Ronald Krogman; daughters, Tammy Gardner (Dale Geist) and Tracy (Charles) Madsen; grandchildren: Trevor Rymer (Sage Nichols), Travis Rymer, Brandon Gardner, Blake Madsen, Landon Madsen, and Ashlynn Madsen; sister, Judy Schweigert; numerous nieces and nephews; and sister-in-law, Georgia Fossum.
Preceding Linda in death are her parents, Glenn & Lois Fossum; brother, Robert Fossum; sister, JoAnn Oliver; and son-in-law, John Gardner.
