ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- On Tuesday, the Brown County Commission discuss the Girl Scouts of South Dakota request for contract and lease for the campgrounds at the Richmond Lake Rec Area.
John Taylor, attorney from Sioux Falls represented the Girl Scouts.
Taylor discuss working with Deputy State’s Attorney Ross Aldentaler.
Amy Hoiland, Chief Finance Officer for the Girl Scouts, talked about the location.
Brown County Commissioner Duane Sutton remind the commission that they were voting on the lease for the Girl Scouts and not on a contract would be done at a later date.
Park Manager Rachel Kippley talks about how this group will take over for a church group who has used it over the last forty plus years.
