Aberdeen City Council approve funding for improvements at water treatment plant

ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- The Aberdeen City Council heard request for funding needed for improvements to the water treatment plant.

Superintendent Amanda Fischer talks about what the funding is for.

The cost for the improvements is over $4.6 million.  Aberdeen Finance Officer Jordan McQuillen talks about the funding coming from the ARPA funds that needs to be spent.

The city council approved the request on a 9-0 vote.
