Toby Doeden for South Dakota tour stopped in Ipswich on Sunday

IPSWICH, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- The Toby Doeden for South Dakota tour made a stop Sunday at Ipswich.  Before fielding questions, Doeden talked about what he would do as Governor if elected.

Doeden talks about doing a Department of External Revenue to help with property tax relief.

Doeden believes non-residents needs to pay their fair share of taxes in South Dakota.

Doeden address how he would handle billionaires that have money set aside in the state.

Doeden talks about if elected, creating a Drug Task Force in South Dakota.

Doeden goes after career politicians looking to deal with funding for the new mens prison.

Doeden talks about career politicians.  He defines in his view what a career politician is.

Following his presentation, Doeden fielded questions from the audience.  He was asked about his official stance on abortion.

Doeden pledged to eliminate property taxes.  He was asked how to go about doing that if elected.

Doeden was asked to address education in rural communities.  He talks about a study out about students in the state of South Dakota.

Doeden admit that some schools in rural communities may be eliminated because of a lack of enrollment & that’s something government really can’t do anything about it.
