SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – Across the nation on Saturday, gatherings protesting President Trump, dubbed “No Kings” rallies flooded streets in all 50 states.
The day happens to coincide with President Trump’s birthday and the Military Parade in Washington, DC honoring the Army’s 250th anniversary.
Millions of Americans were expected to denounce what organizers described as the President’s authoritarian policies.
In Sioux Falls, the demonstration was held along Minnesota Avenue.
Here in Aberdeen, the demonstration was at Anderson Park off of 6th Avenue. About 60 people attending that.
The non-violent protest was organized by 50501 South Dakota. In Aberdeen, it was organized by Indivisible Aberdeen.
