Governor Rhoden spoke to students at Boys State

ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- Thursday night was the annual Governor’s Dinner at Boys State on the campus of Northern State University.

Governor Larry Rhoden talked about what message he wanted to send to the students.

Rhoden offered advice to the students.  He talked about learning everyday since becoming Governor in February.

Rhoden wants to make sure opportunities are available for young people going forward.

Rhoden advised the students to seize the opportunity when presented to you.

Rhoden also took time to field questions from the Boys Staters.  One asked him the biggest challenge once he became Governor of the state.

Rhoden talked about being welcomed with open arms by the legislature and the overwhelming support for Lt. Gov Tony Venhuizen.

Rhoden was asked to compare his leadership style to that of former Governor Kristi Noem.

Friday marks the final day of Boys State.
