ABERDEEN, S.D.(Press Release)- The Aberdeen Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department will be sponsoring a special Family Fun Weekend on Friday through Sunday, June 6 – 8 at Wylie Park. This special weekend features fun activities for the whole family.

Saturday, June 7
10:00 a.m. Family Fitness Day Fun Run/Walk
10:00-12:00 p.m. Princess and Super Hero Party in Castle
1:00-1:30 p.m. Register for Kid’s Fishing Contest Near Pavilion – FREE!
1:30 – 3:00 p.m. Kids Fishing Contest – Preschool – 6th grade
3:30-5:00 p.m. Sandcastle/Sculpture Contest – Wylie Park Beach
Sunday, June 8
11:00-3:00 p.m. Sertoma Plaza Entertainment
1:30 p.m. Raiders of the Lost Park
1:30 p.m. Free Watermelon feed – sponsored by Ken’s Super Fair Foods
& Millstone Family Restaurant – in Storybook Land.
