Aberdeen Central Golf Wins Pierre Invitational

PIERRE, SD (HubCityRadio.com) – In the third event of the season for the Aberdeen Central Golden Eagles, they’d earn their second collective team win & Oliva Braun would medal for the second time in three events from the capital city.

Individually, Olivia Braun was the only player who finished under par; she carded a (-4, 67) for the afternoon. Braun was locked in from the jump; she would birdie four of the first five holes, including a pair of par four & par fives.  She only had one bogey on the afternoon, and balanced it out with a birdie on the back nine.

Gabi Olson of Watertown was seven strokes behind Braun, shooting a (+3, 74), while Braun’s teammate Kyley Wirebaugh tied Olson, shooting a 74 for the day. Emma Dohrer shot a 77 for the afternoon and tied for 6^th place.

As a team, Central finished six strokes ahead of second place Mitchell and 29 strokes ahead of Rapid City Stevens.
