SIOUX FALLS, S.D.(KELO)- You may face an unexpected delay in your next trip through the security checkpoint at the Sioux Falls airport.
Starting next Monday, state-issued driver’s licenses or identification that is not ‘REAL ID” compliant will no longer be accepted by the TSA.
Captain Adam Zishka (ZISH-kuh) of the Minnehaha County Sheriff’s office says without a REAL ID compliant ID card, you won’t be allowed to enter the security checkpoint.
South Dakota Drivers Licenses have qualified for a number of years, but officials say only about 55-percent of Minnesota’s licenses are REAL ID compliant.
