Call to Action event held Saturday at Brown County Courthouse

ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- About 100 people attended a rally in front of the Brown County Courthouse peacefully protesting President Trump’s agenda.

Among items that they were opposed to including cutting funding for various programs such as Medicaid, Medicare, and Social Security.  There were a number of protesters showing signs opposing Elon Musk’s role in dealing with government spending.

Asking around, another issue Democrats in Brown County would like to see better communication coming from leadership in the Brown County Democratic Party.  Vast majority asked weren’t aware of new leadership within the Brown County Democrats and that a scheduled Town Hall coming up on Monday, April 28th at the K.O.Lee Public Library.

Vice Chair of the Brown County Democrats, Erin Ronayne-Rudner remind the audience of the upcoming Town Hall taking place.

Brown County leadership wanted to thank everyone for coming out to this event on Saturday.
